AmmoJammo Posted September 1, 2012 Author Report Share Posted September 1, 2012 Pioneers aren't in anymore, although they did the same numbers (about 0.5dB higher actually) and were just as violent. The new subs are mentioned half way up this page I'm currently giving these new subs about 800watts, they'll happily take double that for music all day, and three or four times as much for burps no love for shiny things? lol been running them for a few weeks now, off and on.. haven't termlabbed them again yet They're Option Audio Xtreme 12's btw. http://www.optionaud...s_OA12XTM11.php new sub VS old? the "new" one in the first pic is actually old and broken, was just making sure they'd fit in the box before ordering four... we killed that one bottoming it out off about 2000watts, in a box that really didn't seem to offer any cone control... voice coil is still good though just a bit, kinky? currently trying to run them in and hoping they get a bit louder! they measured as having an FS of 42-44Hz, but are meant to be 36Hz... they at least have the advantage of handling the whole 800watts they're getting, unlike the pioneers, and should take about 3 times this for burps (may result in more kinkiness?)
