bignickk Posted February 28, 2012 Report Share Posted February 28, 2012 so at the shop weve been installing an ipad for a customer. weve gotten everything done. amps dash piece, everything. but when we play music were getting horrible whine. were using the ipad to an audio contorl eq and lc1 for the volume. and the eq to mids amp and sub amp. weve tried almsot everything. noise filters new rcas better grounds but still have a whine when the ipad is on mute. mabey we missed something. hopin someone has an answer we can try out tommorow lol. btw its got a jbl 1000.4 and a orion 2500.D with an hcca 15 in it. hopefully itll be sick sounding but for now we need to fix the whine issue lol thanks Quote 2000 tahoe orion hcca 15.4 kicker zx2500 2 JL 300/4s infinity and kicker mids/highs KHC1400 in back, stock upfront dont ask about my HU clarion EQ kicker/fosgate rcas Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Maybe not even have them installed, run them strait out of the vehicle and around, moving pieces one at a time. Sometimes rca's or power wires can get close enough to another signal line that just messes with it. Happened with my wideband sensor.
