Forevrbumpn Posted December 10, 2007 Report Share Posted December 10, 2007 oh and the reason that you have to attend theclass is for the setup and installation. from what I have read and heard about it it is not an easy drop in the bucket task. I'm not sure on this but im pretty sure that everything has to be connected in a certain order and configured in a certain order or it will not work properly. Any good stereo shops require manufacturer training, sad to say but when I worked at Frys Electronics thru out the time I worked in the audio dept, installation, and install manager, I must have went to about 30 fully paid classes, with paid dinners, gifts/raffles, 3,4,6 hrs of paid training direct from the manufacturer just before we would realease new product on the sales floor.. Clarion(remember AutoPC- I loved that deck), Cerwin Vega-home and car, Sony-car, Kenwood-home and car, Harman Kardon- Home and car, Kicker, JBL, BOSE, Sony Video, and JVC Man, whatever happened to the Auto PC??... was such a awesome deck at the time, you can name it, and talk to it (Bitch, turn on) Nav, video, 31band EQ Anyways yea man, any Good stereo shop, or company should have you trained for the brands you sell.... so Iam not suprised AT ALL that Alpine needs trained associates to sell/install them I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
