just because you used torres to tune doens't meand its done right. don't build vented boxes with less then 14 sq.in per cu.ft. simple. subs needs to breath! NEUMAN

then what about aeros? they need what, 8-12ish sq in

Yeah. Is it 8-12 or 10-12?

thank you. i wouldn't have been able to aanswer that question. i have never played with aero's. so if one was to not use areo's would they figure the same port area of 8-10/10-12 for round ports? please advise. PM if you want. just i normally build sealed or vented. not many true ported box leave my shop.

I would do aero ports, they dont need much port area because they are so efficient, they only need like 9-12 sq ft because of the round design and flare ends. But the down side is cost.

What are your max dimensions can you do? Cause with a l-port you box is gonna need to be a bit bigger so after displacement you can have a minimum of 4 cubes.

Max dimensions are pretty close to what I have in the pic of torres. Its hard to come up with an exact number because of my rear widnshield. It isn't flat at the bottom its kinda curved so it really cuts down on what I can do as far as dimensions.

This is the box I just built for the XXX that sounds like shit

This is some 9500's I wish I didn't get rid of

And a box I made for my Type X that I couldn't remember how I got it in the trunk so I ended up having to cut it out. (First box I ever made)

I posted these other pics so you could kinda see what I was referring to as far as the curved windshield
