or cut out the curves and use some kind of rubber seal, they sell all kinds of different ones at hardware stores

Good tip I got about sealing a box off was to use cardboard to make a cutout template. The cardboard can be easily cut into whatever shape you need, and then you can trace it onto actual wood or something that you can then add around the edges and foam around
