deathcards
Is it just me or is the motherboard link broken? It brings me to the memory page. i hope you picked out a good board! The rig looks nice and is definitely a nice budget build. CRITIQUE LAND (don't read below if you get butthurt easily) I know you didn't really state what this machine is used for but I'm assuming gaming due to the choice of other components. A 6-core processor is overkill. For the price of the FX- 6100 and the 6770, you could instead do: Phenom II X4 Black Edition (overclockable) - http://www.newegg.co...N82E16819103995 Radeon 6850 1GB (Sapphire) - http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814102908 OR FX-4100 - http://www.newegg.co...N82E16819103996 Radeon 6870 1GB (XFX) - http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814150561 not really butt hurt at all was looking at the sapphire today lolmight still stick with 6100 even though its overkill skar sk2500.1 0 gauge power and ground kunukonceptz alpine HUvxi65 components on BA gt-275new build log -> http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/150642-project-d-kon-deathcards-build-log/#entry2148821 2 x-15 sundowns singer alt, odyssey bat, and maxwell ultra caps
deathcards
why choose a caviar black hdd?? to much money i will sell you a slightly used 2t enterprise raid drive for 100 bucks i have 18 of them and i'm only using 13 so time to downsize hehe never registered them so if it does die on you. you will get a new drive from WD. pm me if your interested trying to keep away from used for my computer just for security reasons such as virus etc.not saying someone could lie about one not being used but probably less of a chance skar sk2500.1 0 gauge power and ground kunukonceptz alpine HUvxi65 components on BA gt-275new build log -> http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/150642-project-d-kon-deathcards-build-log/#entry2148821 2 x-15 sundowns singer alt, odyssey bat, and maxwell ultra caps
deathcards
Personally I don't like that cpu cooler. There's better ones to be had for around the same price. I would also look at different memory. I use to be a fan of Patriot but have had issues with the last few things I've bought from them and it seems their quality has diminished. Also, go on google under shopping and search for all the items to see if you can find them cheaper. I did that with my last build and ended up saving ~$250. any good stong reliable cpu coolers you recommend btw changed the patriot ram to pny don't hear anything bad about them skar sk2500.1 0 gauge power and ground kunukonceptz alpine HUvxi65 components on BA gt-275new build log -> http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/150642-project-d-kon-deathcards-build-log/#entry2148821 2 x-15 sundowns singer alt, odyssey bat, and maxwell ultra caps

Maxim
I realize it's a little more money but I would upgrade to this RAM in a heartbeat http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820226184 Only reason I say the Mushkin RAM is because the heatsink is still low-profile so it'll fit under the Havik cooler and it's a much lower voltage. 1.35v vs 1.65v. It's not a major difference but it you do ever decide to do a bit of tweaking or want to overclock the RAM to 1866 or anything beyond just running stock speeds on everything, 1.65v RAM can cause some issues. Other than that, order this bish! wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 . I was hoping she would let me put it in her butt

Maxim
you do know that the bulldozer cpu needs a minimum of 1866 ram right? also im partual to intel i5 2500k ftmfw Where in the world are you getting your info? EDIT: Just to clarify, the Bulldozer (FX-series) chips will take ANY DDR3 chips from 800 mhz up. The on-board controller is only rated to run at 1866 top speed but many motherboards (including yours) support overclocked RAM up to 2133 mhz. 1600mhx RAM will run just as well as 1866 RAM will on an FX chip. The Windows WEI score may be slightly lower but you won't notice any true increased speed with 1866 RAM. There's not even much of a difference with 1333 vs 1600 but the chips themselves are generally higher quality. wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing.
