TheNewbie
Trying to learn how to build my own boxes. Finally learned a good amount about subwoofers, moving on to boxes so I figure.. why not to try make my own. I put some numbers into the torres calc was just curious if I was doing anything wrong. Looking for about 32hertz tuning. My max dimentions are 18-26 height, I put 18 as my lowest since im not sure how to make it different possibilties.. being that I have a hatch back that slants upwards. Width is 26, and Length is 36. Not sure how I want the port, but the sub facing up for sure. (Wanted it slanted such as in a triangle box facing toward the cabin, but starting easy till i learn). Well heres the picture, any info or tips is greatly appreciated. OrionStang
Do you want a slot port or aero port? Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
412 CVX
number of common port walls = 3 if you're doing a slot. if you're doing a round port then common port walls = 0 but pick one out of the two. the calculator won't account for both Quote Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs. My temp system build log More box buildssome cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches! I'm with captain stupid. One Way
yea where it says port dimensions it has the option for either slot or aero port. the top 2 boxes are for slot and the bottom 2 are for aeros. the lenght part is for both. Yeah, just read that up. Btw Orion I am reading as we speak. Don't see what else would be changed. I'll keep reading.
