ChrisB4 Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 Alright so right now I have a hifonics Brutus 1200 1D powering a kenwood KFC w3012 in a sealed box. I want to upgrade and I have set my mind to buying 2 sundown audio e 15s D4. But I as I did some other searching for fun I came across the Fi ssd D2. Now the difference is the the sundown subs are 800 wats rms combined and the Fi is 1000 rms. the amp is 900 watts rms @ 2 ohms and 1200 watts rms @1 ohm. If I were to get the sundown subs I would run the at 900 watts for the Breslin period then up it to the full 1200. And for the Fi will get the full 1200 from the start. But what had me worried was that I know Fi subwoofers are power hunger and don't know if 1200 watts is enough for it. Also I am looking for 145db. Any suggestions?
