zigzag420
you're missing the point completely. what tone did you use. just because you used the cd that has like 4 different versions of the same frequencies, doesnt mean you picked the right one. umm have u not read the thread? 40 hz -5db Does it do it on any song you play or just some? You might be playing a dirty song. Also: Are you using an iPod input? 3.5mm? How are you playing music? What is your SSF set to? i use cds, iv notice it does it regardless of song but after like 10 min of play time. my ssf is set to 30hz Quote 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee LTD. pioneer 80prs B2 ES6.1I....................................Other Sub Stage: B2 Zero1, B2 Quattro.......................B2 Quota Tantric HDD 12's..............................B2 AS 12" 6^3 33 hz......................................4th Order BP 40hz

zigzag420
and what music? plus are you playing below tuning? the DD-1 is great for getting max clean power out of your amp, but that ISN'T the only way to get coils stinky. Below tuning, clipped music, improper enclosure, too much power are some things that will get your coils stinky, no matter how clean the signal is. rap music, shouldnt be playing below tunning the ssf is set for 30hz, most of my music is pretty clean and i run it threw audicity first. SnowDrifter
Do you have the m1 or m2 level 3s? \m1s Overpowering is your problem. Don't play them for long periods at high volumes and if they stink, turn them down. /thread Quote ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444

You need to watch some of the CC-1 videos and see just how far off those dials can be.
