OP, you can build your own for less than 700

edit: waiting on my stuff to come in, got one to make a rifle and another one to make a pistol, i will post pics once i get them and start to put them together

Ive got a few nice ones. Ill post pics of my new lower when I get it. Its been real easy to build and real cheap Id like a big boy ar too like a .458 socom or something. Ive got a buy a gun itch.

No most use a fixed 10x or a variable power. This is a troop m4 army soldier sight. They rarely engage outside of 300 yards and do not qualify any further

Bullet drop isnt technology its physics.

All military snipers use a mil dot reticle. Each mil dot represents a given unit of measure at XXX distance. At long distances a sniper creates a range card listing distances next to known markers. Say a car or to the corner of a building etc. They either use a laser range finder to find the distance or estimate it. They then figure out their hold on a target at that distance and put it on the card. This allows them to never have to move their zero. Using the dots instead of the exact crosshair is called a hold. They also zero at 500 yards. So anything shorter than that they have to hold. anything farther the same thing. Snipers are no fucking joke. alot of people think they are just dumb gun guys. not even close.

Heres a little better shot of the acog reticle. im trying to go outside and have the neighbors flip out because im pointing an assault rifle off into the trees.

These are ridiculously hard to do with the eye relief so yes I know they arent perfect.
