Diamond500
Well i got some mids and highs on the way and today i went to take out my stock speakers and found a big mess. When i took off the door panels there was tons of glue in the inside that is still wet not even dry. This has to be over 7 years old and super sticky, is there anything good out there that can take all this off. Thanks
Cameronmyers74
maybe a wax and grease removers or lacquer thinner just be careful it doesn't eat into the door panel, and also is it on the actually door panel or the plastic behind the door panel?? Skullz
Did this glue hold a plastic sheet covering the door? That glue is meant to not harden and stay soft and sticky so it holds the plastic sheet in place keeping the cold and heat out or in and stop drafts from air coming into the cabin. Yep it was holding the Plastic sheet. I was going to take off the glue and put second skin on the door panels.
