How to install my component system

Recommended Posts

Just got my Rockford Fosgate T1s in today and i'm a complete noob since this is my first time installing mids and crossovers and what not. I took out my old stocks speakers and just have this wiring left in the door. What do i do cut it off and connect it to the crossover. I'm lost on this. Any help would be great.

Thanks

find which wire is pos. and neg, hook that to the cross over, then from the cross over to the tweet, and crossover to the mid, and yes you cut the connecter off

Legal TL scores145.6 on the dash sealed up in the low 40hz area with the port out145.5 on the dash sealed up @30hz with the port inless then 1k clamped on a 3.5k!

Why would you EVER WANT flex?
huh?...flex is what can make the lows lower and more air being pushed correct?

Cut off the connector, strip wires, connect to crossover.

No amp straight to the headunit.

Do i have to solider the wire to the speakers then?

Either that, or go down to radioshack and get spade connectors the crimp those onto the speaker wire

No you need to do wire connectors, i mean you can solder them but i would just use connectors

Wires from the door going into the crossover

Wires coming out of the crossover with spade terminals on one end going to the tweeter

Wires coming out of the crossover with spade terminals on one end going to the midrange

You shouldn't have to be jamming multiple wires into 1 connector for this :good:

Unless I am misunderstanding you lol
