Hey everyone, thought I would start a thread about my Focus RS as its slowly coming together now with all the various bits and bobs I want on it for the 2012 show season...

Current spec (2011) was this:

Just to give an insight, it currently sits pretty like this:

First on the hit list was a detail and tidy up of the front end...which basically consisted of:

Remove front bumper and detail arches, wiring, engine bay, spray intercooler black, spray headlights black, detail wheels etc etc...

First up, some pics of the installation of the carbon mirrors

First off remove the standard mirror cap bit

Then I used PU Flex to glue the new mirror caps on and held them in place with masking tape for 24hours

Et Voila!

Next up for 2012 was to change the sub from an Ascendant Audio Havoc...to...yes you have guessed it....an Ascendant Audio Havoc LOL!

Cheers mate...no I LOVED the Mosconi's...however, I just fancy a change The next amps probably wont be anywhere near as expensive, however, as I dont drive the car much (its covered around 15k in about 5-6 years!)...its money tied up that im not making alot of use out of...I could free up alot of funds by selling off the Mosconi's and using something a bit cheaper and still enjoy the system as much as I do now...On top of that, im getting married this year so the funds can come in handy!

Yes the Havoc was changed for another Havoc...the reason is as this is a demo car for my company, I want to run the latest equipment that I supply rather then demoing old equipment if you get what I mean? The new Havocs also appear to be smoother and a more pronouced upper end frequency response compared to the previous model due to increased motor strength. Somehow, it has also led to smoother transition between frequencies with even MORE of an SQ sound which gets so viscous it rips your face off at higher volumes lol!
