Computer/Carputer problem (video added)

Recommended Posts

A couple weeks ago my car's batteries completly died, I didn't immediatly charge them cuz I was gonna take some of the engine apart to touch some things up. I charged it back up and now all I get is this:

photo-8.jpg

And after that screen, no matter what option I choose it sends me to this screen:

Then it just goes back to the 1st screen.

Is my carputer completly screwed and am I gonna need to reinstall the Windows software again? Or is it something simpler, and cheaper?

so what i can tell that is happening, your XP is blue screening, but your monitor isnt quick enough to load windows after the post.

basically the part that you left out either because you didnt see it, or you didnt think it matters is this part:

windows xp loading screen, then a blue screen (takes about 5 seconds, then you will see the black screen listing your hard drives, etc)

I forgot if the loading screen came up, let me see if I can find my fuse to put it back in and see if it comes up.

It's use to go through that black screen extremely fast before, I don't know why it's getting stuck now.

basically in this situation you will need your xp cd, boot from the cd and run a check disk.

Yeah that's the option I tried the most and the same thing kept happening.

Let me try to get a fuse to make a vid.

EDIT: to add another reply.

basically in this situation you will need your xp cd, boot from the cd and run a check disk.

I don't have the disk. I bought the carputer used.

if it was the cmos batt, it would have him press F1 to continue before it went past the POST.
