StatingROBIN
I bought 3 dc level 3 12s from my friend and when i got them they read around a 2 ohm loar like they should. I checked the coils today and two of the subs are reading 4 ohms and on the last sub, one coil is reading a 4 ohm load and theother is not reading at all. Is there any reason for this happening? Dailyspl
Are you checking them correctly? If you wired them in series you would get a 4 ohm load Quote 99 expedition Two 15 inch dc audio xls Ported box tunned to 34 hrtz Soundstream pcx.2000d(better amp soon) 0 gauge big three(soon) Yellow top,(more batts soon)

SnowDrifter
I missed the fact that you haven't played them in between the readings lol. Touch the leads on your DMM together. What do they read? And if you look at the voice coil: Is it nice and coppery or is it black, bubbly, and charcoal like?
