TheNewbie
I was wondering if someone could draw me up a box for a single level 4 m2 12'' subwoofer. Tuned to around 32-34 hertz. 31 width 21 length and 13 height, if you can do a sketchup I'd appreciate it greatly. Thanks to anyone who chimes in Edited March 17, 2012 by TheNewbie Quote Check out my build log: http://www.stevemead...60#entry1958353 Different folks have different strokes. SnowDrifter
Put in '1' for the number of extra baffles. Right now, you have it set to be a triple layer baffle. Heck, for a 12 - you could just do single layer baffle and hold it in with t-nuts if you hare having trouble with air space. TheNewbie
I am pretty sure I got plenty for the 12 I just can't get the tuning I want for it :l and opps, I do have triple baffle, trying to get it with double. Thanks for catching that, the new one I have now is double but tuned to 35 hertz :l EDIT: Just changed to 1 extra baffle, I'm now tuned to 34 hertz but I'm at 1.6 cubic I need 1.5 recommended for the sub. Revised up there for slotted DCL4 12" the double baffle never hurts unless you are much too lazy to cut it.

I typed what you had into the torres calc, doesn't seem to come up the same, what do you have for port length? Height should be 11.5 correct? Also why are the top and bottom bigger than the sides? I'm sure it's correct just trying to educate myself. EDIT: It got to 33 hertz by putting the length at 33.75.. you don't think that's to long?
