Yea I knew it was something ridiculous like that, but it's been a long time since I've painted mdf. Shit it's gonna cost me a bunch to paint this thing! I have a 1/4" brad point drill bit that leaves a nice flat bottom hole that I drill down about 3/8 of an inch then drill my pilot hole after that. Works pretty good, just kinda time consuming.
