Ladybridgeport
I have the Soundstream XXX-15000D and UPS dropped the damn thing, so I hooked it up to test my subs, two 18-inch DVC Soundstream X3-182 subs. With and without RCAs connected, I get the normal hiss, but an additional higher pitch wine sound. I have it wired for 2 ohm and rewired it to 1/2 ohm and still get it. The engine is off and have 9 skuriken SK-bt120 batteries fully charged. Is anyone familiar with this amp? It it supposed to have this wine? If I were listen to music at a low volume, It would appear to be engine noise. One my 9 battery bank, the only thing hooked up is the amp, head unit, and relatys. The vehicle wiring harness isn't even connected.

CHEVY4X4BLAZER
Grounding would be my guess. Does anything rattle inside if you shake the amp?
