I'm not a master woodworker like some people but I'm not horrible, especially since I'm doing this unfortunately with no help this time. The box is for a DC Level 5 15 D1.4 on a Stetsom 7KD. When it's finished it should be around 3-3.1 cubes tuned to 41hz. Ports, batteries, and wire aren't here yet, (wire won't be here until April FTL), so it won't be installed and sealed off for a while. This is as far as I got before dinner. I'm going to go out and attach the other side and the baffles if they are dry. Then I'm going to glass concrete former in the back two corners and glass what edges I will be able to. When my ports get here I'm going to bondo them into the baffle firing outwards, but from the inside. Anyways, enough talk. Onto the pics. Wood all cut and ready Spread some Titebond II on one of the baffles. Some weight to hold them down real nice. Back of the box on. One side on. If I get all the glassing done, and sanding if it hardens, then I might get started on a new false floor and batt racks, or an amp rack. Not sure yet. Craig28 Posted March 26, 2012 Author Report Posted March 26, 2012 Got some updates for my first time glassing. It didn't turn out as bad as I thought it would, but man it was a bitch! I'm gonna have some air bubbles to fix and a shitload of sanding to do tomorrow but if it'll help my box's integrity and my score it's definitely worth the trouble. I was going to go out and do more tonight. A little sanding maybe or finish the sides that I left unglassed, but my parents said they were tired and do it tomorrow. Oh well I guess. Don't hate on my glassing skill please, it was my first time ever doing it. Finished glassing, glassed some 1-1/8" dowel rod in for some bracing, and sanded the bish down and it'll be ready for body filler after dinner.
