Aero port questions

Well I'm looking to redo my current box and I've been toying around with the idea of aero ports. I'm running an FI Q12 on a sundown sax1200 in an ext cab colorado (if that makes a difference), this is what I've come up with currently: http://i.imgur.com/LWG1W.png Now I'm not looking to gain spl or anything, it's in a daily driver, but doesn't an aero port have better efficiency over a slot port?

So how would I go about mounting everything?; Can I put the sub up and port up on the same face (how far away does the aero have to be from the sub?). Would sub up, port towards the drivers side door possibly be more beneficial? (how much space does an aero port need in front of it?). I'm rebuilding my current box regardless, but I'm not sure if it's worth experimenting with an aero or just staying with a slot.

if youre worried about port clearance, just run the port on the side of the box, should sound good in a truck

You're gonna need a teeny bit more port area. That Q is gonna sound like ass with that little port area and 2.5^3'

i would do sup up with 2 4inch aero ports going out the side towards the passenger side

This isn't teeball. YOU DO NOT GET A TROPHY JUST BECAUSE YOU SHOW UP. Put the work in and then maybe get the respect when it has been earned
