jh9119
Well I'm looking to redo my current box and I've been toying around with the idea of aero ports. I'm running an FI Q12 on a sundown sax1200 in an ext cab colorado (if that makes a difference), this is what I've come up with currently: http://i.imgur.com/LWG1W.png Now I'm not looking to gain spl or anything, it's in a daily driver, but doesn't an aero port have better efficiency over a slot port? So how would I go about mounting everything?; Can I put the sub up and port up on the same face (how far away does the aero have to be from the sub?). Would sub up, port towards the drivers side door possibly be more beneficial? (how much space does an aero port need in front of it?). I'm rebuilding my current box regardless, but I'm not sure if it's worth experimenting with an aero or just staying with a slot. 2008 Chevrolet ColoradoPioneer DEH-X9500BHSSundown SAX1200dFi Q12 loaded Boston Acoustics GT-275 on: Pioneer TS-D1720cKinetic HC1200 XS power XP750
