Trigg
If you had the proper electrical on the MB Quart it should have plenty of power for 2 vvx 12's. That amp should have 2/0 wire on a good bat and alt. Quote there is some VERY hard headed people out there. Anyone who says a DD-1 isnt necessary is also saying an O-scope isnt necessary. Anyone who says an O-scope IN THE MINIMUM isnt necessary, is a noob. Forget the DD-1 for a minute, any reputable installer will at LEAST use an O-scope. Those guys in that thread are clowns. HunterJohnson
give me the 2000! haha yeah that thing is dope. But as everyone has said whatever you put in that's over 1000 watts is going to be a waste until you upgrade your electrical. I have a run of 1/0 and a run of 4 gauge kicker wire to a bt-20 battery in the back and I still get slight voltage drops 13.3 when I play at full tilt will only 1400RMS! moral of the story. 1/0 and a better battery before you put 2000rms in ur car Quote Scion tC SQ BuildiPad mini, lots of fabrication, daily drivenFord Explorer C Pillar Wall Build Just a cheap car to destroy with bass
DODGE-BASSHEAD25
Well I am on a limited budget until I sell my 4 10's. I just ordered these and have about 40 bucks in my audio fund. So I will upgrade to 4 gauge wire probly this weekend. My question is with 4 gauge will my MBQuart 1500 be enough or should I still upgrademy amp too??? IBleedMusick
Keep the amp fix the electrical the MBQuart is not a shitty amp it will get the job done if you are actually on a tight budget. Plus it would be asinine to go from MBQuart to Hifonics when they are made by the same damn company. If you get a nice 4 gauge kit, do the big 3 in 0 gauge and have a good battery under the hood you should be fine on 1500w with minimal to no drops in voltage. Make sure you get your box for the vvx's professionally designed so that you can get the most output from them. Hit up 412CVX or Ram Designs and have them make you something it's not expensive for the design and build it yourself (following their instructions).
