that amp wont meet the needs of the aa havoc they are 1250rms rated try the 12" type r by alpine very nice subwoofer for sq or if u design your box for it it can get low as hell as well 6oorms is whats needed to run that one

upgrade your amp as well rockford fosgate anything out the power series but keep your mb amp til you can upgrade your electrical than get the rf plus if you go big enough with the rf when your ready to upgrade subs you'll still have the power for that upgrade

if i understand you right try turning the volume all the way down the gain all the way up and adjust from there it is in low pass mode now right unplug switch to low pass then continue
