new guy Posted March 27, 2012 Report Posted March 27, 2012 ok so i have a 96 mustang and my problem isnt i dont have the trunk space i have plenty. my problem is the trunk opening is like 3 feet wide. yall probably get this question alot what are my options other then building inside the trunk? anyone know if i take out the back seats would it be able to just slide a box in that way? im trying to stuff 2 skar 12s in there btw. another option would be to trade my 12s for 2 dd 1508s, how loud could 2 of those get on roughly 1700 rms? any ideas are greatly appreciated. *current* 1991 honda crx si 2 skar audio 12s pioneer 6.5s dual 400 watt amp audio technix db 1/0 wiring kit. dual head unit

rogue Posted March 27, 2012 Report Posted March 27, 2012 yes you can take the rear seat out as well as one of the fronts and it will allow you to get a bigger box in. theres a metal bracket in there too if you have fold down seats that can be trimmed down a bit to get more in also. I have done this before and seen another one done at my buddies shop a while back. Its about the only way unless you build in the car.
