SmallTruk
Anyone know where I could get a DC/DC regulator or converter that'll take 25v input and have a selectable output somewhere around 15-20v? It also need to be capable of high amperage and accept 4 or 8 gauge wire. I've found some online but they're either high amperage 24v in/12v out or adjustable output but really low amperage. Wicks
This is a tough one... Trying to find a DC-DC converter for that current range and adjustable output is going to be pricey! How about this: http://www.zahninc.com/sd11.html Says that they're potentiometer adjustable too. Why do you need to convert 25 to 15V? I'm curious. SmallTruk
I'm trying to help out a friend that's into CB radios and wants to run his linear amp at 17ish volts for comps. He doesn't have the ability to add a 2nd alt and run a seperate higher voltage system so I was telling him he can get a few extra batteries and charge them with a HO alt at 14v then disconnect them from the alt and wire them in series to power the linear amp for the short duration when they key up.
