nej89 Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 so i just noticed yesterday on my fi btl that there is a crack in the dust cap of it. the woofer still works great, just cousius if it is worth reconing because of this. and if i should recone can i change it from a dual 2 to a dual 1 with the recone kit? in fi's website it asks if u want a dual 2 or dual 1. didnt know if i would have to change out the speaker terminals if i wanted to change it. any help would be great

ChevyBoy95 Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 reconing for a dustcap issue.... no no no no no. you can either put something on the cap to seal the crack, or get a new cap and glue a new one on. but buying a 140+ dollar or whatever they cost for a recone due to a dustcap would be insane.
