  1. there is a product out there called fiberal and it is like fiberglass hairs in a can with activator in the other tube and when u squeeze it out it puts the right amount of hardener u need. that is add strength but regular body filler is just for making it smooth and clean looking
  2. i have a 99 cherokee with a mechman 320 amp and it fits, verry tight fit but it fits.
  3. i grind paint off of the chasis, pre drill the hole put my ground on then re paint over it
  4. rule of thumb i use is that if there is too much power use a smaller box than recomender and if not enough power u can use a bigger box. its all about cone control
  5. the gain is set just above half way. i didnt have my tones with me to set it with the dmm. but ive smelled burnt coils before and it didnt really smell like that. it smelled like poop, like cow poop. but should i will turn the gains down a lil
  6. k i got everything hooked up and it is loud....i dont drop below 14.6 when i keep rpms at 2000, but the only thing that concerns me is the woofer gets hot and smells like manure really bad. i dont know if its the bed liner on the box or the fiberglass in the box or what? should u be concerned?
  7. no videos yet. i just ordered all my fuses i need and as soon as they come in im gonna be running all my new wires and when i post the pics of all that then ill do a couple of videos and post some numbers as well
  8. I'm gonna be finishing the box tonight and bed lining on Thursday and then I'll post more pics on Friday for everyone to see
  9. Sorry for those who couldn't see pics for a bit, trying to edit and make them bigger but idk if it worked. The box is 4.5 cubes tuned to 32hz. My voltage is at 16v at idle...the port length is 15" with a width of 5". There will also be some cross bracing but I don't have pics up of it yet...
  10. Running a Sundown SAZ4500d to one 18" Fi BTL. The box is 4.5 cu ft. Stock alternator was replaced with a 320a with adjustable voltage from MechMan, and three charge tanks have been added from VMaxx. In the middle of my build, let me know what you think.
  11. so i installed my 320a alt today and i got it set with the adjustable voltage regulator by tunring the screw clockwise to stay at 14.5. i used my dmm that i bought from the matco guy that comes to my shop once a week. at the dmm its stays at 14.5 volts but on my dash it will read 14.5 and then after like 1 minute my voltage shoots up past 19, but that is all on the dash. my dmm never changes what is reads. so i decided to take my cherokee for a drive to see if that helps.....well it did a little. it will stay at the 14.5 on the dash and then shoot up just like at idle but then after driving for a little longer it goes back down to 14.5. does anyone know what is goin on here? could it be a bad voltage reader on my dash. it is still the stock one from the jeep. or could it be a bad altinator? thanks for the help.
  12. great seller. bought an saz-4500 from him an as soon as he got the money from my pay pal i recieved the amp with in 3 days. i would definitly buy from him again
