Can someone sketch this up for me please!

Yeah half port length is correct, that even slipped me by late at night. It's all good, I don't expect anything from anyone but I appreciate everything from everyone!

fuck the plating. look at what the main metal used is. you could buy unicorn blood plated terminals but if its just covering up dog shit, whats the point

I'll admit, half way through sanding that fiberglass in the rain and cold while I was all itchy I was definitely starting to question why i was doing this haha

Wow bro, looks great, and actually how far is that end of the port from the outside wall? the port needs to stay the same width throughout.

i 'm sort of a noob here so this is probably not the smartest question but wouldn't there be a gap between the top plate and the port walls since the box 18.5in tall and the port is only 14.5in shouldn't the port be 17in tall?

It all depends on how you set up your box with this calculator, since my port is on top, the length of the port is actually the depth(width of the box), hope that clears that up for ya.

yup makes sense now just looking at it wrong thanks

Ya all depends on where you place your port, this calc can be confusing when still learning it. I've used it for quite a while and have still recently learned some things about it.

I would've sketched something up for you, but it was way late and i had a test tomorrow. i'm also like 3 box designs backed up right now lol so sorry. btw looks like you forgot to close your tabs ;)

whoever did the sketchup did it right the second time. the port width along the back wall should be half that of the total port width.

although those 45's should probably be measured

What do you mean the 45s should be measured?

How I did them was I drew a line from the inside corner at 45 degrees and 1.5 inches long, and that's where i drew the 45's. So basically, from the inside corner to the closest point (the middle) of the 45 is 1.5". Figure, that way, it keeps the width of the port constant. Did I do that right or no?

Wow! That is really nice man. I do thank you for that. I have some great templates here from all of you, and this is definetly the design I will be going with for my R2 10's.

Edit: Chevy, u sure that port length displayed in yours is 32long? I couldn't seem to get 32 out of it, I may just be having a brain fart currently.
