Guest Posted March 29, 2012 Report Share Posted March 29, 2012 maybe some of you tech savvy guys can figure this out. my dad bought a modem off of a guy on ebay to replace ours as to not pay a stupid monthly fee for having said modem. i go to hook the new one up, didnt want to connect so i reset it along with my router. all lights were good, so when i went to go to google.com, i would get some Apache directory listing. it would be the exact same for any site i would go to, whether it be here or a newspaper site, or anything. tracert showed it not being able to get past my router (which is hooked up to the modem obviously) and it just fails the second hop and somehow finishes the route on the third hop with some 172 address. Can you navigate that apache directory at all?
