I noticed the slope? is different? I think that's what it is. The headunits is Subwoofer crossover (50/63/80/100/125Hz, -18dB/Oct.) and the amp Variable Crossover Control: Low-Pass: 40-250Hz, 24dB/Octave, Butterworth Quote Rest In Peace mother. Guest Posted March 30, 2012 Report Posted March 30, 2012 the slope is different, the one on the amp has a sharper roll off. honestly i would use the headunit lpf, because amp lpf's are hard to dial in accurately without like a cc-1, for example. Quote

SnowDrifter Posted March 30, 2012 Report Posted March 30, 2012 I dial in my amp crossover with a DMM. But I like to use the ones on the head unit if possible just because it's really easy. As far as rolloff - both are sufficient. Pick whichever sounds best to you, assuming you even notice a difference. Like the older RF amps for example 18 and 24db/octave will both be sufficient for crossing over a sub.
