trpkkd Posted March 31, 2012 Report Share Posted March 31, 2012 (edited) I'm hopefully going to be getting back into to car audio soon and to date the biggest amp I've ran is a memphis 500d. With that said I've been liking what I see with the new Sundown sa8 v2s and plan on running two of them when money allows and I have been thinking of either running a Sundown 1200d or 1500d to power them and a fosgate pbr 300x4 for mids and highs and was wondering if i could get away with just getting a better battery and doing the big three. matt14 Posted March 31, 2012 Report Share Posted March 31, 2012 I had about 1400 rms total on my first system with the big 3 done and a better battery down the road, and was fine as far as voltage goes. Never dipped past 13.6v at the time. But my alternator from the factory was 130amp.
