knockin'hoe97 Posted June 12, 2012 Author Report Posted June 12, 2012 well getting a little bit done with the deadening process....figured i'd throw a few pics up of the progress the roof from back to the c-pillar you aint working til you bust your knuckles or cut yourself lol and i have a question....idk what this stuff is but should i just put second skin over top of it or skip over it or what....its like a woven material and i have no idea what it is lol

I would remove it put the second skin on then install it back over the second skin if you want to keep it. There is probably wiring under it for rear dome lights etc too. My truck had a woven material when I took it apart but it was big and covered the floor and under the headliner....but not woven as small as what yo posted. That looks brittle or something. Is it ahrd/smooth/strong enough to stick the sound deadener too and not worry about it. If so i would install over it probably. Especially if you have to pry it off.
