Basson50 Posted March 31, 2012 Report Posted March 31, 2012 Hello everybody I was on here last nite and I decided to go with four sundown zv3 15"s. I really need a great enclourse design that will have these woofers getting down rite nasty, hopefully to reach my goal of 153-155 db on 9k. I would like to use 13ply Russian Baltic birch, .75 thick. Measurements of jeep are 43w. 33l. 22h., I wanna shoot for 35hz tuning with a lot of port. Two things I'm really Intrested in are aero ports and these metal rods I see guys using in there box, I guess it's for bracing because on the out of the box there's like these little screwabe tubes. If anybody knows wat I'm talking please explain the benefits of these over regular wood bracing. Also is it really worth doing the aeros or should I stick with slot and separate chambers or common chambers. Any help will be appreciated guys. I'm calling in the box gurus for this one. Keep in mind sundown says each only needs 3 to 3.25 cubic ft of airspace.
