2 15" kicker cvr 3.5 cu ft round port question

Noob question I know... I have the two 15"s in a sealed box with a divider in the middle, should I round port each chamber or take the divider board out and use one port?

You should get a bigger non-prefab box if you plan on porting them. They're going to crave more airspace if you switch from sealed->ported

yep ive got the same thing mine r in a 8.5cf. tuned to 40 hz and i only have them runnin off 750 watts and its pretty loud

Then you might just be better off switching to only 1 of them. 1 in a well-built/designed ported box would sound hella lot better than 2 in a prefab sealed box that you stick a round hole in.

Sounds good to me money is tight for now but what if I took one out and the divider then capped the hole from the sub taken out could I play around with it from there? or am I just being retarded lol

Not being retarded, there's no harm in asking questions. But in my honest opinion, I'd just buy a 4 foot by 8 foot sheet of 3/4" MDF (they're under $30 where I live) and try building yourself a new box. That's what I did when I upgraded from my 2 12" MTX subs in a prefab sealed box and I noticed a considerable difference. Was tons louder from probably about 27Hz -> high 50Hz's.

Ok thanks for the help I guess I have a ton of research to still do I kinda figured out wiring and ohms and now for boxes lol round or slot ported and the many crazy looking slot ported boxes
