LUV bass
Sounds like your starter is slipping IMO, like the gear isn't going up and connecting with the gear on the crankshaft. I know how to fix it on my old shit, but I'll let someone more knowledgeable chime in Quote 2008 Toyota Corolla -Skar VVX 12 D4 (2)-Skar SK1500.1-Pioneer DEH-80prs

LUV bass
If the starter solenoid (the smaller tube-like thing on top of the starter) is easy to take off, try taking that off carefully as to not lose the spring in there or anything, and clean up the copper electrical connections. If it's not easy to take off, wait, and maybe someone more knowledgeable knows for sure what the problem is. I don't claim to be an expert, haha Quote 2008 Toyota Corolla -Skar VVX 12 D4 (2)-Skar SK1500.1-Pioneer DEH-80prs

KC_Burban
Broken flywheel.. or bad starter...you said it was running then died No when i came back out from the gas station it started doing that. Its still stuck up there. Would it be worth it to try banging on the starter to get it started to get it home or just have it towed?
