SojiaRaggs9000 Posted April 3, 2012 Report Share Posted April 3, 2012 My buddy has 2 m1 DC lvl 3 12's. I have an old box I made laying around that I might give him to help him save some cash. Box specs are: Ported Box Tuned to 36hz. 3.03³ ft Per Chamber , With 2.71³ ft After Displacement I used to have 2 m1 DC XL 12's in this box and it was loud as hell . They where running off a older 09 DC PAI 3000.1 amp @ .5 ohm. SO it was getting plently of power for sure. (If that matters) My question is... with only 600rms per lvl3 will they be safe in this enclosure? Or should I just make him a new box? Kinda why Im asking lol it is hella huge. I used it with my old XLs as basically a trunk sealed wall.
