inm
PlastiDip'd my back emblem. Looks good from far away, but up close you can see some imperfections. Hopefully doing the rest of my chrome soon, but it's too dusty on my driveway to do it at home, gotta find somewhere else to do it. inm
looks to me the same as the chevy aveo.... This is the successor to the American Aveo. It's still being sold as the Aveo in non-US countries though. Completely different car though, the whole thing was redesigned for 2012. Just bought the Sonic LTZ for my mom. theyre fun little cars. They definitely are. Wish I had the funds to go with the LTZ, really wanted the leather and sunroof, but it just wasn't possible for me. inm
Alright, slight update. First off, a dash kit has been created, I will be buying it soon, hopefully by mid June. When I do, I'll be throwing a cheap single-DIN in, just so I can add in a small system before my beach trips. The small system will include a JL 500/1 that my cousin is letting me borrow, and 1 or 2 12" Kickers. http://www.ebay.com/itm/METRA-99-3012G-DIN-2-DIN-INSTALLATION-DASH-KIT-FOR-CHEVROLET-SONIC-2012-UP-NEW-/221005520146?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3374f49d12 By the end of May, I plan to have my rear windows/windshield tinted. Dad won't let me do the front windows because the car is technically in his name. By the end of July, I plan to have the 18" Sparco Assetto Garas, wrapped in Pirella All Season tires. This may happen earlier, as my dad has been talking about possibly buying them for me as a gift. After all that, I'll be swapping in a double-DIN headunit. Not sure one which one exactly, but I'm leaning towards the Kenwood Excelon series. I plan to eventually run 2x 10" subs, either DC or AA, not sure yet, on about 1kW. Nothing too big. So yeah, updates coming soon. inm
250 for a kit WOW man i miss the good old days when a kit cost 15 but that logo is looking good I mean, it replaces the entire dash, and includes the module for Bluetooth, OnStar, and steering wheel controls. Not a bad price, in my opinion. Steering wheel kits alone can cost over $100. inm
So I've determined what the system will eventually be. H/U - Kenwood Excelon DNX9990HD Subs - Skar Audio IVX 10" (x2) Amp - Skar Audio SK-800.1 Speakers - 2 sets of Rockford 6.5" for the doors I probably won't be running an amp for the speakers. I'm not sure if I'm doing sealed or ported for the subs. I'm not looking to get loud, just add some range. I'm gonna see how much space I'll have left if I do ported and go from there. Anyway, here's what will happen FIRST: By the end of this month, I will have: Metra Dash Kit Whatever headunit I can pick up cheapest that has USB/AUX and sub preouts 1 12" Kicker CVR (Old stuff from my Blazer) 1 500/1 JL amp (Borrowed from cousin) That will be my temporary/summer set up until I can afford the good stuff.
