It says it's electronically controlled for faster charging, less battery strain, yadda yadda To the point: the charging voltage on this is ~16v (verified 16.08 with a DMM) when set to charge a small 12v flooded battery. After it's charged, it drops off to a float voltage of 13.2, but the charging voltage still seems way high.
