bc optimas were designed for a starting battery or longer draw at low amps.. they were designed for off road guys who run multipul lights and dont worry about getting acid all of you whenit rolls over they were NOT designed for the big current draws repeatldy

and just becuase alpine puts a "nominal" gain setting on a amp doesnt mean its correct..not every box has the same impedance rise etc etc etc

and duralast batteries are NOT underrated..if anything they are overrated wetcell crap (same ish walmart sells)

capacitors store INSTANT energy and once the cap is depleated it will drain your main battery to try and keep it charged..so your electrical will never "catch up".. and most of them have pretty lights on them that come on and off during the day and night and further drain your battery

Your ground in the back is only as good as your grounds up front, If you are running stock grounding under your hood still your not running a 4 gauge ground.
