ebrahim Posted April 9, 2012 Report Posted April 9, 2012 I have the Morel Dotech Ovation 6 up front being powered by the Arc Audio KS 300.2. I have the Morel Maximo 6.5 coaxials running the Eclipse CD 5030 head unit. I know Morel makes subwoofers but was wondering if they are any subwoofer out there that are good for all types of music. I mostly listen to techno music a lot and I do not want to go for a pair of tens because of space issue. I am looking for either a single 10 or a single 12 in 1 cu ft enclosure. Vehicle is a 2006 Kia Spectra and I have a mono block TREO RSX 16 amp that does the following: 310 x 1 @ 2 ohm 600 x 1 @ 1 ohm I am just looking for a single subwoofer and I tried JL Audio W0 to W6 and was not happy with them. I tried Diamond Audio D3 15 sealed and did not like it either. The only ones I am looking at are the following: Arc Audio Ascendant Audio Boston Acoustics G5 [on ebay and other similar sites] Clarion [ Thinking about it] Fi Audio Incriminator Audio [187 or IA] JBL Morel Ultimo SC SoundStream Thank you for all your help.

STEvil Posted April 9, 2012 Report Posted April 9, 2012 You could mount a larger sub (or two) to a baffle board and use the entire trunk as your enclosure volume. Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed.
