i have always been scared of getting some of these. i noticed, the leads arent stitched...has anyone here had issues or distortion with this?

My build log.

Head unit- Kenwood Excelon KDC-X695

Front doors- Rockford Fosgate 6.5" Prime components

Rear doors- Rockford Fosgate 4" Punch coaxials

Sub amp- Audiopipe AP18001d

Subs- Two American Bass TNT 10"s

Box- 2.6 cubes @ 34hz, 36in of port

Big 3 & run of Raptor 1/0 to rear powercell

Can it be heard 2 blocks away, thats how i rate systems.

unstitched leads will not cause distortion, but they can slap the cone or the spider and wear through the lead, cone, or spider.

The real issue is current RE subs are junk. Old ones were good.

Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through.

True story about them being junk. I've had to recone mine 2 times because they literally fell apart in my box.

I have the new Re 12 Se's for a couple months and they are Bad ass . Had type rs just befoer, And they shit on the type Rs at least in the same box. alote of ppl talk shit on Re and theve never even had em. Havent had no problems with them
