Amart88
I had something hit my tail light and now it has a small ding and spider crack about 1 - 1 1/2 inches across. Is there anything I can do to make it look better or repair it? I really dont feel like spending a fortune at GM for a new one. The car is a 2006 pontiac pursuit. HatersGonnaHate
It looks like interior spiderweb cracks.... Only way to fix it without getting a new one is to take the entire housing out and separate the assembly and do a crack repair with the same type of stuff they use to repair/fill windshield cracks and chips. You either have to carefully separate it by hand without cracking it more, or check around on the car forums and see if anyone has taken them apart. I would assume it would be the same way as taking headlights apart, which is to find the melting point of the adhesive, throwing it in the oven, and separating it. If all else fails, check ebay for a cheap OEM replacement. It's gonna be a shit tone cheaper than the dealership. HatersGonnaHate
Just checked ebay.... About $50 for a tail light. Chevy cobalt's are the same thing as the pursuit, and the tail lights look identical, so they should swap right in. Rebel4055
When you do find a replacement. I would get both left and right. Just because there could be a difference in color. HatersGonnaHate
Wouldn't your tint make it less noticeable?
