justinschmidt Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 I'm new here(hello), and I'm in need of some opinions/help with what my options are here. I'm building a box for two 12"d2 t1's in my civic. Each subwoofer will be ran at 1 ohm with around 1500 watts. My space available is 35" wide. 30" tall 18" deep. I would like to have the subwoofers facing forward above the rear seats but I'm unsure of where to place the port, or what direction it should fire. I did a quick rendering just to help show what I mean. I like my bass deep and low, but I'm open to recommendations on what the box should/could be tuned at. I understand the concept of building a box, but I'm not super knowledgeable on the subject. I'll be the first to admit that.... The picture I posted would be a view if you were sitting in the driver seat, looking back towards the rear of the vehicle. EDIT: the box will be 30" inches tall, 35" wide and 18" deep. It would be no different than taking up the entire trunk space in a trunk car.
