Wiring Question?

i have dual voice coil 4 ohm subs on the inside of the sealed enclosure each one is wired down to 2 ohms. is this how you would go about wiring them to a final impedance of 1 ohm? sorry for the noob question but i checked with a DMM but it said 2.6 ohm so i think i got a faulty meter because even when i test the probes it never stays steady it jumps from .0 all the way up to 7.6.http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s200/alvisonero408/W1.jpg

looks right to me... are the subs wired at 2ohms

edit: also when do you get your reading? with the wires out of the amp?

Yes both subs are wired at 2 ohms each on the inside. With the wires on the amp I get the reading
