I will be putting a d925 for my main battery and a d3400 in the trunk. I want to hook up the XS Power Intellicharger somewhere on the car, can I put ring terminals on the cables and leave it hooked up all the time even though it wont be plugged in, or bad idea. Also, does it matter what battery I hook the charger to?

As long as it's not exposed to the elements, I don't see an issue with it

I was planning on putting it in the trunk with the d3400, just wasnt sure if it mattered which battery I hooked it up to
