lem43606 Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 I just finished my wall today and had it playing.. my amp just shut off randomly when i was driving.. i pulled over turn the car off and the amp turned back on. played for a few second and it kicked back off, did this about three time then it just would even turn back on.. i set gains with dd-1 voltage not going below 12.6 full tilt. any ideas on what to try? the amp was not hot it was only a little warm and i couldnt smell anything burnt up coming from the amp 2 Fi BTL N2 18s Fully LoadedSundown Audio NS-1Kenwood 845 HU Clarion EQ4 Juicebox 3100sKnu Wire"Big 3"Mechman 270a156.3dBTeam GG.

SlamminBeats Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 This randomly happened to me in the past, with gains set by a dd1 and not too bad of voltage. Turned out to be the ground connection in the amp. I just wiggled it a bit and the amp would flicker on and off. So then i just took it out and reconnected it. no problems since. Maybe try this
