And for specs...look on the rockford site..
stroupe79
i will let you know...if you want help you will need to give the max dimensions you have to work with...width, height and depth of the cargo area... you might want to let people know what kind of power your running, music you listen to, or what area your wanting the port tuned to...otherwise your not going to get anywhere Quote http://www.stevemead...cherokee-build/ 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Alpine CDE-hd148bt Alpine PKG-RSE2 PRV Audio (4) 6MB200 front/rear doors PRV Audio (4) TW350Ti dash/rear doors Kicker KX350.4 Obsidian Audio (1) 18 D4 v2 revamp (2) Stereo Integrity HT 18d2DC Audio 1.2k5.25ft^3 tuned @34hz revamp Infinite Baffle Cpillar AudioTechnix 60mil deadenerKnuKonceptz & SkyHigh wire (complete setup)
frankeyshade
Sorry I'm a little new to this, I will be running a hifonics Brutus 1700 for now... And tuning wise honestly i just want it to get loud and hit most of the notes... I mainly listen to rap music and I don't have the exact dimensions but I guarantee I can fit just about any box necessary to meet the requirements of 2 t0's it's a big trunk lol
stroupe79
i understand that..its similar to the Ford Edge which I have driven many times...the trunk is a nice size..but people will want the measurements to help you...width and depth for sure...some people dont care if the box is taller than the backseats or not..but things like that determine how much space your box will take up and how to tune it also... if you listen to mostly rap i would suggest tuning in the mid to low 30s... here are specs for your subs http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/products/product_details.aspx?itemid=120431 Quote http://www.stevemead...cherokee-build/ 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Alpine CDE-hd148bt Alpine PKG-RSE2 PRV Audio (4) 6MB200 front/rear doors PRV Audio (4) TW350Ti dash/rear doors Kicker KX350.4 Obsidian Audio (1) 18 D4 v2 revamp (2) Stereo Integrity HT 18d2DC Audio 1.2k5.25ft^3 tuned @34hz revamp Infinite Baffle Cpillar AudioTechnix 60mil deadenerKnuKonceptz & SkyHigh wire (complete setup)
frankeyshade
20in tall, 34 wide, and depth 30in so I still have some space in trunk I doubt I would have to go that big though, like I said if anyone can whip something up real fast because I'm clueless how to design a box but I can build it easily just need a sketch

SlamminBeats
Maybe ask around in the rockford section for a good tuning on those subs!
stroupe79
ok...here is some numbers for you to work with.. 18h x 34w x 26d external measurements 16.5h x 4w x 28d port measurements (will have a bend in the port) gives you tuning of 32hz 4.96 cubic feet after all displacements for subs/port/bracing 13.31 inches of port per foot 66 cubic inches of port area .6 sub displacement 1 extra baffle .25 bracing .75 thickness of box material (mdf) download torres calculator on here and if you input those numbers you should get your cut sheet now that is just a rough box...there are people who can design you way better..but this is just so you get an idea of what you need or might want.. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/38791-torres-box-tuning-calculator/ Edited April 19, 2012 by stroupe79 Quote http://www.stevemead...cherokee-build/ 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Alpine CDE-hd148bt Alpine PKG-RSE2 PRV Audio (4) 6MB200 front/rear doors PRV Audio (4) TW350Ti dash/rear doors Kicker KX350.4 Obsidian Audio (1) 18 D4 v2 revamp (2) Stereo Integrity HT 18d2DC Audio 1.2k5.25ft^3 tuned @34hz revamp Infinite Baffle Cpillar AudioTechnix 60mil deadenerKnuKonceptz & SkyHigh wire (complete setup)
Joe X
Ok so here is another suggestion: Enclosure Specifications: Fb = 33 Hz Vb = 4.5 ft^3 External Height = 16 in External Width = 34 in External Depth = 24.75 in Port Width = 4 1/4 in Cut Sheet List: * All Dimensions in Inches. * Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts. External Enclosure Parts: 2 x Front & Back (3 parts) = 34 x 16 Left & Right Sides = 22 1/2 x 14 1/2 Top & Bottom = 34 x 22 1/2 L Port Internal Assembly Parts: Front to Back = 18 1/4 x 14 1/2 Extension = 2 x 14 1/2 Let me know any questions.
