Enclosure design help

Hi guys, Any help appreciated. I need some help designing a ported box for my 2 15" type R's. I wanna get the most out of these subs an not too sure what cubic ft they should be fit too or tuned.

I'm going to be running a Rockford fosgate 1500bd to them @ 1ohm, an their going in my 1999 Chevy silverado 1500 extended cab.

I took out the back seats so i have plenty of room to work with. Dimensions we have to work with- H=20 W=45 D=20

Ok this would be one easy way to go:

Enclosure Specifications:

Fb = 33.017 Hz

Vb = 4.5 ft^3

External Height = 18 in

External Width = 42.5 in

External Depth = 17 in

Port Width = 4 in

Cut Sheet List:

* All Dimensions in Inches.

* Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts.

External Enclosure Parts:

2 x Top & Bottom (3 parts) = 42 1/2 x 17

Left & Right Sides = 15 1/2 x 15 3/4

Front & Back = 42 1/2 x 15 3/4

L Port Internal Assembly Parts:

Top to Bottom = 11 3/4 x 15 1/2

Extension = 7 1/2 x 15 1/2

its a bit bigger then the 2.25net recommend but with a lower tune it will hit low and hard

just make sure you set the gains properly for good clean power

depending on space in front of port you may be better with something likes joe's with port up

Thanks alot guys. But i have one more question with joe x's box, i see in his box he has a wooden dowl and a peice of wood at a 45 angle. Did he already minus these dimentions from the cubic vol? Thanks!
