noob needs advice - is my plan any good? (kinda long)

one of the big problems in my area is sourcing stuff, most of the top shops are out of business and/or carry crappy gear, and I really hate doing the online thing

i have no skills and no tools to build a box and all the local builders seem pretty amateur...a custom box shipped to me would be expensive

the shop prices are in line with the market....If i had the time skills and tools i'd buy everything used and install myself but i have none of that

now I have doubts......anybody local in Toronto can build a box and do an install?

that would open alot of the options that have been suggested

Thats a good start, you'll get a better deal if you found someone say like here on the forums to build you a box, and the majority of the time they'll have pictures of previous boxes they built, plus I wouldnt be too anti-online shopping, 90% of the time thats where the best deals are found.

i shook this one kids hand and it just folded in mine. long story short i fucked his girlfriendso.. yeah..

You want this to happen to you? Give decent handshakes people.

absolutely go with your electrical system first!!!

I've dropped around $8-$10K in the last 4 years for systems that don't last me all that long.

I've wasted a lot of time and money all because i was being lazy and didn't fix/support my electrical for the type of setups i wanted to do.
