Guest
in complete honesty, if you have to wonder what the difference between d2 and d4 is, then you are seriously not ready for a system of this caliber.

JeremyN
Damn I didn't know i needed all dat .... yup. once you start passing the like 2500w mark, you need to start spending more in electrical upgrades like an alternator and batteries. with a 2500w amp, you're already pulling DOUBLE the current of what your alternator can output. The paper says available in dual 2 ohm or dual 4 voice coil ....Wats da difference??? dual 2 ohm voice coils, or dual 4 ohm voice coils. thats it pretty much. it just helps with wiring them to different amps. if you need for example 2 ohms at the amp and you have 4 woofers, you'll need dual 4 ohm woofers. but if you have 4 woofers and you need a 1 ohm load, then you get dual 2's. get it? you are correct in your reason just not in your math 2 12" Jeff Vue Customs 1 set MB Quart FSB 216 in doors1 American Bass 100.1 on sub1 Hertz EP2 on doorsJVC deck IPOD controlStock 105 amp alt DD-1big 3new build in Chevy caviler http://www.stevemead...chevy-cavalier/last set up in the ZX2 http://www.stevemead...-current-build/old build log http://www.stevemead...-1998-ford-zx2/ Gold is the money of kings, silver is the money of gentlemen, debt is the money of slaves.
