Hollowstylez Posted April 20, 2012 Report Posted April 20, 2012 I see alot of setups where there are smaller bags up front than in the rear. Why is that? Wouldnt there be a softer ride if you could use 8" all around? I've been wanting to bag my ride for a while now and just might spring for some slam specialties ss 8s. Any help would be appreciated. Hollowstylez Posted April 20, 2012 Author Report Posted April 20, 2012 So its pretty much what ever fits? Ok, what about the ride, would you be able to notice the difference between 7s up front and 8s up front? Quote
CLNSHVNnDRAGGN Posted April 21, 2012 Report Posted April 21, 2012 A bigger bag is gonna give you a softer ride and more of a floating feel. JMZNeal Posted April 21, 2012 Report Posted April 21, 2012 Yes you will notice a big difference. bigger is better unless you want a tight sporty ride that kills you on bumps in the road. Hollowstylez Posted April 21, 2012 Author Report Posted April 21, 2012 I guess I would need the floating feeling since I do have a buick. haha How do bags handle body roll? Would upgrading the sway bars be a good idea as well? Thanks guys. Quote
CLNSHVNnDRAGGN Posted April 22, 2012 Report Posted April 22, 2012 If you're looking to lay it out you usually ditch the sway bars. Going with the smaller bag is still gonna give you a nice ride even with bumps. If you decide to go with a bigger bag just choose your shocks carefully to counter the body roll.
